Paint the Town Red brings health and wellness to downtown


On Thursday, February 22, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital will join Chippewa Falls Main Street to offer a special heart health and wellness event, collectively called “Paint the Town Red.” This annual event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at businesses in downtown Chippewa Falls.

Many local businesses will have special offerings throughout the evening with some even hosting health screenings and information provided by St. Joseph’s and Prevea Health, including:

Blood Pressure Screenings
Chippewa Candy Shop, 322 N. Bridge Street
Free blood pressure readings will be offered by HSHS Home Health and Hospice team members.

Engage Your Core
Korgers Furniture and Decorating, 201 N. Bridge Street
Join HSHS Rehabilitation Services experts to learn how to engage your core throughout the day with mindful breathing techniques. Also check out the latest exercise and meditation apps.

Women’s Health
Bird’s Nest, 116 N Bridge Street, Chippewa Falls
Join Annie Bailey, Certified Nurse Midwife, Prevea Health to learn how a midwife cares for women’s health beyond labor and delivery.

Hearing Screenings
Medicine Shoppe Pink Boutique at the Indianhead Plaza Building, 619 N. Bridge Street
Shawna Lee, Doctor of Audiology, Prevea Health, will offer free hearing screenings and discuss options for better hearing. Learn the connection between hearing and heart health!

Stroke Prevention

BMI and Blood Pressure

Wound Healing and Heart Health
